Pontiac Unveils Its First SUV LOS ANGELES - The new 2006 Pontiac Torrent expands Pontiac's total performance boundaries by combining car-like agility with SUV capability and versatility. Pontiac revealed the Torrent at the 2005 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. The Torrent has a bold, sporty design complemented by a multi-purpose interior that is configurable to countless uses, including a rear seat that adjusts fore and aft. The adjustable rear seat can provide more legroom for rear-seat passengers when moved rearward or increase the size of the cargo area when moved forward. The rear seat also reclines.
