Honeywell Third Generation VNT(TM) Technology Boosts Premium Car V8 Diesel Engines

Honeywell Turbo Technologies, the manufacturer of Garrett(R) turbochargers, has announced that its third generation VNT(TM) technology is featured on three flagship turbo diesel V8s unveiled at the IAA 2005 International Motor Show. Each of the new vehicles -- the Audi A8 4.2 TDI, BMW 745d and the Mercedes S 420 CDI -- are setting new standards in power, torque, fuel efficiency and emissions control with the help of the third generation Garrett(R) VNT(TM) turbochargers.
